Videos (Video)

Overview

The Videos section allows administrators to view, edit, and manage all uploaded videos. Administrators can update video information, assign products and categories, and control the visibility and playback settings of each video.

Edit Video

To modify an existing video:

  1. Navigate to Modules → Videos.
  2. Select the video you want to edit.
  3. Update the required information.
  4. Click Submit to save the changes.

Video Details

Field Description
Video Title Enter or update the video title. Maximum 255 characters.
Description Enter or modify the video description. Maximum 5000 characters.
Select Products Associate the video with one or more products.
Select Category Assign the video to the appropriate category.

Video Management Options

The following actions are available for each uploaded video:

Option Description
Published Makes the video visible within the application.
Unpublished Hides the video from the application without deleting it.
Muted Plays the video without audio.
Unmuted Enables audio playback for the video.
Delete Permanently removes the selected video from the application.

How to Edit a Video

  1. Open Modules → Videos.
  2. Select the required video.
  3. Update the Video Title or Description, if needed.
  4. Select the appropriate Products.
  5. Assign the required Category.
  6. Configure the required video options such as Published, Muted, or Unmuted.
  7. Click Submit to save the changes.

Best Practices

  • Use descriptive video titles for easier identification.
  • Assign videos to the correct Products and Categories for better organization.
  • Publish videos only after verifying their content.
  • Use the Mute option when videos should play without audio in kiosk environments.
  • Delete videos only when they are no longer required.

Important:
Any modifications made to a video, including product assignment, category selection, publish status, or audio settings, will not be applied until you click the Submit button.
