Languages

Overview

The Language section allows administrators to manage and customize the text displayed throughout the application. It provides a centralized location for translating system labels, buttons, messages, and other interface elements into different languages.

Base Language

The Base Language is the default language used by the application. It contains all predefined system text that can be translated into the desired language.

Language Details

Field Description
Title Enter the name of the language. Maximum 64 characters.
System Translation Displays all default system labels and messages available for translation.

System Translation

The System Translation section contains all default application text used throughout the system.

  • Categories
  • Products
  • Cart
  • Search
  • Maps
  • Forms
  • Resources
  • Images
  • Videos
  • Submit
  • Cancel
  • Confirm
  • Update
  • Delete
  • Loading...
  • Error Messages
  • Validation Messages
  • Order Messages
  • Printer Messages
  • Navigation Labels
  • Notifications
  • System Alerts

For each system label:

  • The left side displays the original system text.
  • The right side allows administrators to enter the translated text for the selected language.

Note:
Only the translated value should be modified. The original system keys remain unchanged.

Custom Translation

The Custom Translation section allows administrators to create translations for custom labels that are not included in the default system translations.

Field Description
Key Enter the unique identifier for the custom text.
Translated Text Enter the translated value that will be displayed in the application.

Use Custom Translation when additional application text needs to be localized without modifying the default system translations.

How to Configure a Language

  1. Navigate to Pages → Language.
  2. Enter the Language Title.
  3. Translate the required values under System Translation.
  4. Add any additional translations under Custom Translation, if required.
  5. Click Submit to save the language configuration.

Best Practices

  • Translate only the values on the right side of the translation fields.
  • Keep translations clear, consistent, and user-friendly.
  • Use Custom Translation only for application-specific text that is not available in the default system translation.
  • Review all translated content before publishing to ensure accuracy.

Important:
Any changes made to System Translation or Custom Translation will not be applied until you click the Update button.
