Heat Map

Overview

The Kiosk Status section provides a real-time overview of all registered kiosks. It displays the current connection status, activity, and location of each kiosk, allowing administrators to monitor kiosk availability from a single dashboard.

Navigate to VirtuKiosk → Kiosks to view kiosk status.

Kiosk Status

Each kiosk card displays important information, including:

  • Kiosk Name
  • Mapped Account
  • Connection Status
  • Last Online Time
  • Kiosk Type
  • Activity Status

Example:

  • Status: Casual (Inactive for 2–8 hours)
  • Online: Jul 23, 2026 11:47 AM

Status Categories

The dashboard categorizes kiosks based on their current status:

  • Online – Kiosk is connected and actively communicating with the server.
  • Offline – Kiosk is currently disconnected.
  • Casual – Kiosk has been inactive for a short period (for example, 2–8 hours).
  • Unmapped – Kiosk has not been mapped to any account.

These categories help administrators quickly identify the operational state of each kiosk.

Search Kiosks

Use the Search box to quickly locate a kiosk by its name or other available details.

Kiosk Location Map

Selecting a kiosk opens its Location Map, allowing administrators to view the kiosk's geographical location.

The map helps administrators:

  • View the kiosk's current location.
  • Verify where the kiosk is installed.
  • Identify the kiosk on an interactive map.
  • Monitor kiosk deployment across different locations.

Manage Kiosks

Administrators can:

  • View real-time kiosk status.
  • Monitor online and offline kiosks.
  • Check the last online timestamp.
  • View kiosk locations on the map.
  • Search for specific kiosks.
  • Identify unmapped kiosks.

Best Practices

  • Regularly monitor kiosk status to ensure uninterrupted operation.
  • Review offline or casual kiosks for connectivity issues.
  • Verify kiosk locations using the map when deploying or troubleshooting devices.
  • Ensure every kiosk is properly mapped to the correct account.

Important:
The Kiosk Status dashboard provides a real-time overview of kiosk connectivity and activity. Clicking on a kiosk opens its Location Map, making it easy to verify the kiosk's installation location and monitor its operational status.
