Overview

This update introduces the Meeting Scheduler to VirtuApp! You can now easily set up meetings, manage your availability, and handle meeting requests. We’ve also made the app much faster, switched to a simpler 12-hour time format, and fixed annoying bugs that caused the screen to jump or buttons to freeze.

1. Meeting Scheduler

Introduced a brand-new space designed to make scheduling easy for everyone.

  • Smart Roles: The app automatically knows if you are a Guest, Host, or Manager and shows you the right tools for your account.
  • Organized Tabs: Seamlessly switch between your confirmed meetings and new requests waiting for your reply.
  • Quick Date Finder: Scroll through dates horizontally to find exactly what you're looking for.
  • Familiar Times: All meeting times are now displayed in a simple 12-hour format (like 2:00 PM) so they are easy to read at a glance.

2. Managing Your Time (For Hosts & Managers)

Provided Hosts and Managers with a dedicated menu to control exactly when people can book time with them.

  • Create & Edit Slots: Easily set up your available times, dates, and what the meetings are for.
  • Show or Hide: Choose whether to publish your available times for others to see, or hide them temporarily.
  • Pause Everything: Need a break? Use the global "Pause" button to temporarily stop all incoming meeting requests.

3. Bug Fixes & A Smoother Experience

  • No More Waiting: Accepting a meeting feels instant. The card immediately updates and moves to the right tab without freezing the screen with a loading spinner.
  • Reliable Buttons: Tapping "Accept," "Decline," or "Cancel" now shows a small loading animation. This prevents accidental double-taps and errors while the app updates your schedule.
  • No More Screen Jumping: We fixed a bug that would randomly jump you back to the current day while you were looking at future dates. The app now remembers your spot perfectly when refreshing data.
