Overview
This release introduces the Connect Layout and Guest Meeting Scheduler in VirtuApp. Guests can view available hosts and managers, select available meeting slots, send meeting requests, and manage their requests directly within the application.
The release also includes a database migration from version 24 to version 25 to support the updated functionality.

Feature Details
1. Connect Layout
Added a new Connect Layout to VirtuApp that allows guests to view hosts and managers associated with a page and initiate meeting requests.
Configuration
- Open the VirtuApp Console.
- Navigate to Pages.
- Open the required page.
- Select the layout configuration option.
- Choose the Connect Layout.
- Configure the layout header and description.
- Save the page configuration.
Behavior
- The Connect Layout displays the hosts and managers associated with the configured page.
- The layout header and description can be customized through the console.
- Guests can select an available host to view their meeting slots and initiate a meeting request.
2. Guest Meeting Scheduler
Introduced meeting scheduling functionality for the Guest user type in the Connect module.
Guests can select a host, choose an available meeting slot, provide meeting details, and send a meeting request.
Meeting Scheduling Flow
- Open a page containing the Connect Layout.
- View the hosts and managers associated with the page.
- Select a host who is logged in to the application and is not paused.
- View the host's available meeting slots.
- Select the required time slot.
- Continue to the meeting details screen.
- Enter the meeting title and description.
- Submit the meeting request to the selected host.
Behavior
- Guests can initiate requests with eligible hosts.
- Hosts who are paused or not logged in are not available for selection, according to the availability rules.
- Available meeting slots are displayed for the selected host.
- Guests can select a suitable slot and submit meeting details.
- The meeting request is sent to the selected host for further action.
- Guests can cancel a meeting request when cancellation is supported for its current status.
3. Meeting Request Management
Added a centralized Connect section where guests can view and manage their meeting requests.
The Connect section can be accessed through a configured Footer, CTA, or Menu entry point.
Configuration
- Open the VirtuApp Console.
- Navigate to the relevant Footer, CTA, or Menu configuration.
- Add the Connect type.
- Save the configuration.
Request Information
The Connect section provides access to the guest's meeting requests, including the following statuses:
- Pending Requests: Requests awaiting further action.
- Sent Requests: Requests submitted to hosts.
- Cancelled Requests: Requests that have been cancelled.
- Completed Meetings: Requests associated with completed meetings.
Available Actions
- View meeting request details.
- Review the status of submitted requests.
- Cancel eligible meeting requests.
- Delete requests that the guest no longer wants to keep, where supported.
This provides guests with a centralized place to track their meeting requests without returning to the original Connect Layout.
4. Guest API Integration
Added Guest API integration to support the new Connect Layout and meeting scheduling workflow.
Supported Functionality
- Retrieve hosts and managers associated with a page.
- Retrieve host availability and meeting slots.
- Submit meeting requests with a title and description.
- Support meeting request cancellation.
- Retrieve meeting requests for the Connect section.
- Support request management based on the available request actions and statuses.
The new API integration connects the guest-facing interface with the Connect module's meeting scheduling functionality.
5. Database Migration: Version 24 to Version 25
