Overview

Version 12.8 includes updates to **Media Files, Product Mode, backend-controlled script loading. It also introduces new media customization capabilities (Previous & Next Button) and fixes an issue affecting the Update App flow.

New Updates

Media Files

  • Added Unmute configuration for Media File Videos and Gallery.
  • Added Media File Videos and Media File Gallery support in Product Mode.
  • Added UI customization for Media File Images, Videos, and Gallery, including Previous and Next button controls.
  • The Previous and Next button background is automatically hidden when the Content Background Opacity is less than 1.
Media Type Behavior
  • Media Images – Displays only image files.
  • Media Videos – Displays only video files.
  • Media Gallery – Displays both image and video files.

Access Path

    To access the Media File UI customization settings:customization:

      Open

      Pages from→ the left sidebar.

      Select theProduct required→ Product.Info Open→ the Info section. Under Select Mode, select→ Media Filefiles Images, Videos & galleryGallery. Open

      To Add media Files(Images, Videos):

      Modules → Files → Add Files

      To add all Media Files.

      Clickin Product Mode:

      Product → File → Media File → Add Media Files.

      Open

      To change the Customization of Previous & Next Buttons:

      Product → Select Product → Settings → Style.

      Click Style section.

      Style Settings

      The Style section provides options to customize the Previous and Next Button buttons:

      • Content Background Color – Changes the background color of the Previous and Next buttons.
      • Content Background Opacity – Controls the opacity of the Previous and Next button.

      Bug Fixes

      Update App Crash

      • Fixed an issue where the Android Kiosk application crashed when clicking Update App from the error/update screen.

      Backend & Script Handling

      Base URL Script Loading

      • Updated script loading logic to use the Base URL controlled by the backend.

      Intercept URL Script Command

      • Added support for the Intercept URL script command in Android Kiosk.
