Web Assets

Overview

The Web Assets section allows administrators to register and manage external web asset URLs that can be used within the VirtuKiosk application. These assets may include web pages, hosted content, web applications, or other online resources that need to be accessed from the kiosk.

Navigate to VirtuKiosk → Web Assets to manage web asset URLs.

Web Assets

The Web Assets page displays all configured web asset URLs.

If no web asset has been added, the system displays:

No Web Assets found. Please add a web asset first.

Add Web Asset

To add a new web asset:

    Navigate to VirtuKiosk → Web Assets. Click Add Web Asset. Enter the required Web Asset URL. Save the configuration.

    Once added, the web asset becomes available for use within supported kiosk features.

    Web Asset Details

    The following information is maintained for each web asset:

    Field Description URL Displays the configured web asset URL. Web Asset URL The external web address used by the kiosk.

    Manage Web Assets

    Administrators can:

      Add new web assets. View configured web asset URLs. Edit existing web assets. Delete web assets that are no longer required.

      Best Practices

        Use valid and accessible HTTPS URLs whenever possible. Verify the URL before saving. Remove outdated or unused web assets. Ensure hosted web content is accessible from the kiosk.

        Important:
        Web Assets allow administrators to configure external web URLs that can be accessed by the kiosk. Make sure the provided URL is valid and reachable before saving the configuration.
