Others (Compare Groups)

Overview

The Compare Groups section allows administrators to create and manage groups that can be used to compare similar products within the application. Products assigned to the same Compare Group can be displayed together for comparison, making it easier for users to evaluate different options.

Navigate to Modules → Compare Groups. Click Add Compare Groups. Enter a Group Name. Click Submit to save the group.

After successful creation, the system displays a confirmation message.

    Compare Group Added successfully.

The list contains the following information:

Column Description Group Name Displays the name of the Compare Group. Action Provides options to manage the Compare Group, such as Edit or Delete (depending on user permissions).

    Example:

    Show Entries

The Show Entries option allows administrators to control how many Compare Groups are displayed on a single page.

    Common options include:

      10 Entries 25 Entries 50 Entries 100 Entries

      Manage Compare Groups

      Administrators can:

Create new Compare Groups. View all existing Compare Groups. Search Compare Groups. Edit Compare Group names (if permitted). Delete Compare Groups (if no longer required).

        Best Practices

Use short, meaningful, and unique group names. Create separate Compare Groups for different product categories. Avoid duplicate group names to maintain better organization. Review existing groups before creating new ones. Delete unused Compare Groups to keep the list organized.

          Important:
A Compare Group is created only after entering a valid Group Name and clicking the Submit button. Once saved successfully, it will appear in the Compare Groups list and can be used while configuring products for comparison.
