# Kiosk (Assets)

# Overview

The **Kiosk Assets** section allows administrators to upload and manage images used throughout the kiosk interface. These assets include icons, backgrounds, logos, map markers, and banners that define the visual appearance of the kiosk.

Navigate to **VirtuKiosk → Kiosk Assets** to configure kiosk assets.

# Upload Kiosk Assets

Administrators can upload various graphical assets by using the **Drag & Drop** area or clicking to browse files.

Most icon assets require a **1:1 aspect ratio**, while backgrounds and banners support larger image dimensions.

# Kiosk Icons

The following icons can be configured:

| Asset | Description |
|--------|-------------|
| **Kiosk Home Icon** | Displays the Home button icon. |
| **Kiosk Search Icon** | Displays the Search button icon. |
| **Kiosk Cart Icon** | Displays the Cart button icon. |
| **Order Receipt Logo** | Logo printed on order receipts. |

**Requirements**

- Image Aspect Ratio: **1:1**
- Image Size: **10 × 10 px** to **4000 × 4000 px**

# Background Images

Administrators can upload background images for different kiosk screens.

Available backgrounds include:

- **Kiosk Cart Background**
- **Kiosk Order Background**
- **Category Background**
- **Product Background**

**Requirements**

- Only **1 image** is allowed for each background.
- Image Size: **10 × 10 px** to **4000 × 4000 px**

# Map Assets

The following assets are used within the kiosk map interface:

| Asset | Description |
|--------|-------------|
| **Map Footstep Icon** | Displays navigation footsteps on the map. |
| **Map Pin Active Icon** | Indicates the currently selected destination. |
| **Map Pin Inactive Icon** | Displays inactive map locations. |
| **Map Pin Kiosk Icon** | Represents the kiosk location on the map. |
| **Map Home Icon** | Displays the Home location on the map. |

**Requirements**

- Image Aspect Ratio: **1:1**
- Image Size: **10 × 10 px** to **4000 × 4000 px**

# Banner Images

Administrators can upload promotional banners displayed on different kiosk screens.

Available banner types include:

### Kiosk Screensaver Banners

- Displayed during the kiosk screensaver.
- Maximum **8 images** can be uploaded.

### Kiosk Home Banners

- Displayed on the kiosk home screen.
- Maximum **8 images** can be uploaded.

**Requirements**

- Image Size: **10 × 10 px** to **4000 × 4000 px**

# Manage Kiosk Assets

Administrators can:

- Upload kiosk icons.
- Configure order receipt logo.
- Upload screen backgrounds.
- Configure map icons.
- Upload screensaver banners.
- Upload home screen banners.
- Replace existing assets whenever required.

# Best Practices

- Use high-quality images for all assets.
- Maintain a **1:1 aspect ratio** for icon images.
- Use optimized image sizes for better kiosk performance.
- Follow the upload limits for banners and backgrounds.
- Preview assets before deploying them to production.

> Kiosk Assets control the overall appearance of the kiosk interface. After uploading or updating assets, click **Submit** to save the changes. Ensure all images meet the recommended size and aspect ratio requirements for the best display experience.
